1, the expansion joint can not bear the weight should be hoisted separately. The expansion joint shall not be hoisted together with the pipe after welding unless reinforcement measures are taken for the expansion joint.
2. Before installation, check the type and specification of expansion joint and the support configuration of pipeline must meet the design requirements.
3. For expansion joints with inner liner, attention should be paid to making the direction of inner liner consistent with the direction of medium flow. The rotational plane of the hinge of the planar angular expansion joint is consistent with the displacement plane.
4. Auxiliary members used for pre-deformation of expansion joints requiring "cold tightening" shall be removed after installation of piping.
5. In addition to pre-stretching (compression) or "cold tightening" pre-deformation required by the design, it is strictly prohibited to adjust the installation deviation of pipes by making bellows deform so as to avoid affecting the normal function of expansion joints, reducing the service life and increasing the load of pipe systems, equipment nozzles and supporting members.
6. During installation, welding slag is not allowed to splash on the surface of the bellows and cause other mechanical damage to the bellows.
7. After the installation of the pipe system, the auxiliary positioning mechanism and fasteners for installation of transportation protection on the expansion joint shall be removed immediately, and the limit device shall be adjusted to the specified position according to the design requirements.
8. A flange in the expansion section of the flanged joint shall be welded after the adjustment of the bolt hole.
9. Sufficient space shall be left around the expansion joint to ensure that the expansion joint can move freely within the design range. All moving components of the expansion joint shall not be stuck by external components or restrict the normal operation of their moving parts.
10. When conducting water pressure test on expansion joints used for gas medium and their connecting pipes, it is necessary to consider whether temporary supports should be added to the nozzles on expansion joints to bear the load when water is filled.
11. Do not conduct water pressure test or vacuum test before the correct installation of all guiding supports and fixing supports. Water for water pressure test must be clean and non-corrosive.
12. The water in the ripples should be drained as soon as possible after the water pressure test.
